Description
Title: Graduate Research Assistant 11mo (Fiscal) - Readvertisement
Location: Honolulu, Kaka'ako, O'ahu

Description: This position will be assisting the Fiscal Office at the University of Hawai'i Cancer Center at Kaka'ako.
Job Duties:
  1. Assist the fiscal office with research and administrative support for the Cancer Center (e.g., pcard record management, document log maintenance, accounts payable payment preparation, filing, etc).
  2. Assist with fiscal meetings (e.g., take minutes) and projects.
  3. Create folders and organize and manage fiscal filing system each fiscal year.
  4. Maintain off-sight records storage tracking and assists with retrieval and refiling of maintained files.
  5. Assist with the initiating of fiscal documents (e.g., DVs, payments, revolving fund work orders and invoices, etc.).
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  1. A classified University of Hawai'i Manoa graduate student, new or continuing, must provide a Letter of Offer or Registrar of courses; Good academic standing (3.0 GPA or above)
  2. Competent in general computer programs (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  3. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff.
  4. Applicant needs to be able to work independently and reliably as a team. Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
  5. Flexible and willingness to learn new skills.
