Job description

A.R. Mays Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager with professional fluency in Mandarin and English. This position will serve as a key point of communication between our U.S.-based project teams and Taiwan-based clients.

The Project Manager leads assigned construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to established quality standards. This role oversees project coordination, team performance, project documentation, and client relationships.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Professional fluency in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written
  • Three or more years of construction project management experience
  • Construction Management degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other construction management software
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Preferred Experience:
  • Semiconductor manufacturing facilities
  • Complex commercial construction projects
  • Coordination with international clients and project stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and communicate project information in both Mandarin and English
  • Manage client, design team, subcontractor, and vendor relationships
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Oversee contracts, subcontracts, procurement, and project documentation
  • Review submittals, estimates, schedules, and project costs
  • Manage billing, payments, cost tracking, and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with permits, testing requirements, and documentation
  • Lead project meetings and maintain accurate project records
  • Identify and resolve project challenges
  • Supervise, support, and coordinate project team members
