Job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a broad range of HR functions, including full cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll coordination, compliance, training, safety programs, and employee engagement. This role serves as a trusted resource for employees and managers while helping ensure HR programs, policies, and practices are administered consistently and in compliance with applicable employment laws. Fluency in Mandarin and English is required, including the ability to communicate clearly with employees and managers in both languages.


The ideal candidate is a hands on HR professional with strong communication skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and support day to day Human Resources operations, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, payroll coordination, leave administration, compliance, training, safety, and employee engagement programs.

Manage full cycle recruitment for exempt, non exempt, temporary, and contract positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer support, onboarding, and offboarding.

Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, payroll, leaves of absence, and employment related questions.

Support employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, coaching, and employee development initiatives.

Coordinate employee benefit programs, leave of absence administration, and annual open enrollment activities.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, employee documentation, and required reporting.

Review payroll and timekeeping information for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Assist with the development, update, and communication of HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and related programs.

Coordinate safety initiatives, compliance training, employee development programs, and required regulatory training.

Support workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, employee retention, and engagement initiatives.

Coordinate employee recognition programs, company events, team building activities, and other employee engagement efforts.

Prepare HR correspondence, reports, presentations, and business documents while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.

Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, procedures, workflows, and operational efficiency.

Perform other HR related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience.

Associate degree preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant HR experience may be considered.

Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll coordination, compliance, and HR recordkeeping.

Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.

Experience maintaining confidential employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR systems. Experience with HRIS, ATS, payroll, or timekeeping systems preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain policies, procedures, benefits, and employment related information to employees and managers.

Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to gather information, analyze issues, and recommend practical solutions.

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple responsibilities.

High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee and business information.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in HR records, payroll information, reports, and documentation.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities, competing deadlines, and evolving business needs.

Collaborative and service oriented approach with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
