Commercial Insurance Agent

Commercial Insurance Agent We are more than your favorite commercials. We strive to deliver peace of mind to our customers by providing protection and comprehensive advice. District 3504, in DFW is a President's Council Team (top 1% Nationwide) is seeking a self-driven Commercial Insurance Agent with experience, writing business across specific industries and strong SIC focus on contractors, medical offices, restaurants, retail, and professional services.

We have leads!
  • Manage inbound and outbound commercial leads for businesses in targeted industries
  • Quote and bind coverage (BOPs, workers comp, commercial auto, Umbrella, etc.)
  • Navigate carrier portals and underwriting for both standard and niche markets
  • Educating clients and delivering tailored risk management strategies
  • Maintain compliance and clear documentation in CRM systems
  • Build lasting relationships for retention and referral business
Our Target Business Types Include:
  • Artisan Contractors: Electrical, tile, flooring, landscaping, cleaning, etc
  • Restaurants: From fast casual to fine dining and bagel shops with on-premises baking
  • Retail & Service Providers: Florists, apparel stores, musical instrument retailers
  • Medical & Health Practices: Chiropractors, optometrists, podiatrists, and dental labs
  • Professional Services: Lawyers, accountants, real estate agents, consultants, IT firms
Requirements What you bring
  • 2+ years of commercial insurance sales experience minimum (prefer more)
  • Active P&C General Lines License in Texas (in good standing) Required and L&H preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal training (We will provide the best onboarding and additional training through the University of Farmers and locally)
  • Familiarity with small to medium-size business markets and underwriting nuances (Know your SIC codes)
  • Comfortable advising across multiple lines and industry verticals

You will be given warm introductions to the agencies and there will be some split business there but also will be free to work the entire market and build your own book (and recruit a team.) Make this as big as you can dream. It will be your "book of business"
