Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Insurance Agent role located in Grandview, OH. The Insurance Agent will meet with prospective clients to assess their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options for personal and commercial lines. The role involves preparing quotes, explaining policy features, processing applications, and handling renewals and policy changes. The Insurance Agent will respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support to maintain strong customer relationships. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, following compliance standards, collaborating with agency staff, and working toward individual and team sales goals.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance Brokerage, with the ability to identify client needs and present suitable products.
  • Solid understanding of Insurance products and basic Finance concepts relevant to coverage, premiums, and risk.
  • Strong Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and timely follow-up.
  • Relevant state insurance license (or eligibility to obtain one within a defined timeframe).
  • Comfort with using agency management systems, CRM tools, and standard office software.
  • Ability to work on-site full time, manage multiple client accounts, and meet performance targets.
  • Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or a related field is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, finance, or related areas is beneficial.
