  • Earning Potential:

    An established book of business to jump start your career. New agents have an earning potential of $65,000-$75,000 in their first full calendar year. Top agents have earned nearly $100,000 in their first year. After two years of successful production, an agent becomes eligible to apply for management opportunities that arise throughout the state. This will increase income opportunity to exceed $200,000 to $300,000 per year and even more in certain situations. You control your own destiny with Texas Farm Bureau Insurance.



  • Training and Growth:

    When working with Texas Farm Bureau you receive extensive sales training, product training, and support from your managing agent within the same office. Our proven systems will teach you an integrated approach designed to provide real value to your prospects and clients. This will help you create more business opportunities and exceed the expectations of your clients. We provide a mentoring program allowing you to connect with other successful agents and providing supervision with a vested interest to see you succeed.



  • Incentive trips:

    Qualifying agents enjoy incentive trips to such luxurious locations as London, Paris, Canada, Hawaii, Vienna just to name a few. Summer trips have included Tahoe, Disney, Tampa, Washington DC, and Hilton Head SC.




We require highly motivated individuals willing to invest their time and energy into creating a profitable and rewarding business. You must have a desire to succeed, have an independent spirit and strong work ethic. Candidates must also have a good credit and clear criminal history.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Sell Home, Auto, Life, and commercial insurance products

  • Seek out leads and new clients

  • Discuss financial concerns and needs of individuals

  • Service new and existing clients

  • Develop your professional skills and knowledge


Preferred candidates:

  • 4 year degree, preferred

  • Ability to pass background and credit check

  • Sales experience, a plus
