Overview
Registered Nurse - Radiology in Rochester, New York for a travel, temporary assignment. Start date: 09/14/2026 for a 17-week contract. Weekly pay: $2,475-$2,569 per week. Shift: 10-hour nights (4x10s), Monday-Thursday with no weekends or call. Setting: hospital-level interventional radiology unit within a level 1 trauma center. No IR experience required. The role supports pre-procedural preparation, post-procedural recovery, and overnight observation for IR patients across inpatient and outpatient populations.

Responsibilities

- Monitor telemetry and respond to patient changes; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Support care for CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, X-ray, and ultrasound patients as part of the diagnostic imaging team
- Communicate clearly with patients and families; document care and ensure safety and comfort during the pre/post procedures
- Adapt to a high-energy environment with a focus on accuracy, critical thinking, and organized care delivery
Requirements
- Licenses: New York RN license (active)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), American Heart Association
- Experience: Telemetry experience required; two (2) years of interventional radiology nursing experience and two (2) years of medical-surgical experience
- Special notes: No IR experience required per unit description
- Education: Registered Nurse education as required for licensure
