Transportation Supervisor: Full Time, Monday - Friday

The Transportation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all patient transportation to ensure safe, timely, and efficient transportation services for individuals throughout the admissions, active treatment, and discharge process.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Oversee and coordinate all transportation requests related to patient admissions, transfers, appointments, and discharges.
  • Develop and manage daily transportation schedules and logisticsto ensure timely and efficient patient movement.
  • Supervise, support, and provide direction to transportation staff and drivers.
  • Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with Admissions, Clinical, Nursing, and Operations teams to ensure transportation needs are met seamlessly.
  • Monitor vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, cleanliness, and overall fleet readiness.
  • Respond to transportation-related issues, delays, or emergencies in a professional and timely manner.
  • Track transportation data, mileage, incident reports, and operational metrics for reporting and quality improvement purposes.
  • Assistin developing and implementing transportation procedures, workflows, and best practices to improve efficiency and patient experience.
  • Ensure all patient interactions are handled with professionalism, compassion, confidentiality, anda commitment to exceptional customer service. Active involvement in quality assessment and improvement activities
  • Maintain a safe and caring environment, delivering care in a culturally sensitive manner and consistent with Wellbridge mission, vision, and values

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

For patient care needs, this is an on-site role. Clearly communicate and exchange information verbally and electronically. Consistent computer and phone, general office equipment use. Generally sedentary, traversing office and facility areas. Potential for some patient transport as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Clean and insurable driving record in accordance with company policy
  • Knowledge and experience in transportation coordination preferred
  • Experience in the addiction and/or mental health treatment field or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training, at least two (1) years in a supervisory capacity preferred
  • Experience with implementation of new systems, project management, and goal achievement

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Proficiency in Excel, and Microsoft Outlook (email, Teams)
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple situations at once
  • Knowledge of HIPAA policies and procedures
  • Valid CPR/BLS certification
