Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming catering supplies, equipment, and food items.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks and cycle counts.
  • Organize and maintain the warehouse space, ensuring it is clean, safe, and efficient.
  • Prepare and pack orders for upcoming events, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
  • Manage the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for reordering to management.
  • Assist with the tracking of equipment and supplies to and from events.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory, or logistics role, preferably in the catering or food service industry.
  • Familiarity with inventory management principles and practices.
  • Ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack (certification preferred).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email and order tracking systems.
