Fulfillment Associate

The Fulfillment Associate is the backbone of our supply chain team within operations, helping move products in and out of Glo facilities and eventually to end customers.

Where You Fit

This role is a cross-functionally trained position, serving on the Material Handling, Order Picking, and Shipping teams, which change as company needs change seasonally. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Expectation

The principal expectation of this position is to help perform all warehouse and fulfillment activities in a safe, fun, efficient, and productive manner. You will be assigned to varying teams daily, so day-to-day activity will be highly variable. A successful team member must thrive in a fast-paced, highly fluid environment. The ideal Fulfillment Associate is one who is always willing to lend a helping hand to ensure products get where they need to be within the company and beyond.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Material Handling Team:
    • Assist in receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials and products.
    • Move materials within the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow and storage.
    • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
    • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
    • Assist with regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Order Picking Team:
    • Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders.
    • Pack products securely and efficiently to ensure safe delivery.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies or low-stock situations to supervisors.
    • Inspect products for damage or defects and report any issues to supervisors.
  • Shipping Team:
    • Label & prepare packages for shipping, ensuring documentation is accurate and complete.
    • Assist in loading and unloading trucks or containers, verifying the accuracy of shipments.
    • Ensure all outgoing shipments meet quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Participate in safety training and drills as required.
  • Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or accidents to supervisors immediately.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, material handling, or a related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software such as Shipstation.
