Commercial Custodian
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is partnering with a respected client in Romulus, Michigan specializing in Modular Home Manufacturing.
Commercial Custodian Job Summary:
  • Vacuum or dust mop and wet mop floors, stairwells, restock restrooms, dust furniture, clean windows, clean machines/process areas, remove trash and replace bags, and other duties as assigned.
  • Experience in commercial janitorial or custodian work required.
  • Loading, unloading, storage and movement of materials through warehouse and/or production areas.
  • Maintain clean and orderly warehouse.
  • Adheres to all instructions in a professional manner.
  • 1st: 7AM - 5PM, Monday- Thursday with occasional overtime on Friday's and Saturday's.
  • Pay: $17-19 per hour, based on experience.

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities:
  • Vacuum or dust mop and wet mop floors, stairwells, restock restrooms, dust furniture, clean windows, clean machines/process areas, remove trash and replace bags, and other duties as assigned.
  • Experience in commercial janitorial or custodian work required.
  • Loading, unloading, storage and movement of materials through warehouse and/or production areas.
  • Maintain clean and orderly warehouse.
  • Previous experience working with diverse populations preferred.
  • Collaborates with employees to maintain organization & delivering materials with urgency.
  • Always adheres to safety protocols and follows policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by Management.

Commercial Custodian Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5 years' Commercial Custodian experience as well as in the building trades field, previous experience working with diverse populations preferred.
  • Previous background in construction & production required.
  • Regular and predictable attendance required.
