Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and versatile Sales/Warehouse Associate to support the launch and daily operations of our new South Carolina branch location. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the branch operates efficiently by managing warehouse responsibilities, supporting customer needs, and helping maintain a high level of service and professionalism.

The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment. This position offers training and opportunities to grow as the company/branch grows. Willingness to travel to NJ to train is a plus.

Requirements:

Essential Responsibilities


Customer Service & Branch Support

  • Support daily branch operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Present a professional image to customers, vendors, and team members at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments regarding orders, shipments, and inventory.
  • Some inside sales duties, to include generating new and repeat product quotations and product information to customers promptly.
  • Some purchasing duties, including sourcing products and negotiating the most favorable agreement possible
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Warehouse & Inventory Operations

  • Stock new inventory and maintain current inventory levels accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare, pack, and process customer orders for shipment via Ground and LTL carriers.
  • Carefully and accurately maintain receiving and shipping records for assigned categories.
  • Assist with loading and unloading incoming and outgoing freight shipments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work environment.
  • Perform general warehouse and clerical duties as assigned.

Delivery & Additional Duties

  • Occasional local deliveries using a company vehicle may be required.
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal productivity goals, and work collaboratively with other team members.
  • Assist in additional operational tasks as needed to support branch success.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 3-5 years of previous warehouse, distribution, customer service, or industrial supply experience.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Must have a valid driverโ€™s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
