Position Summary

We are currently seeking a reliable, motivated Driver and Shop Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will safely deliver parts/materials to customers, maintain accurate shipping/receiving logs, and provide support with inventory, loading, and keeping the shop clean and organized.

Responsibilities

  • Driving: Safely operate a company vehicle and trailer (non-CDL specific role, DOT Medical required) to deliver parts, products, or materials within the continental USA.
  • Shop Hand/Warehouse: Assist with loading/unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and picking/staging orders.
  • Maintenance: Keep the shop, warehouse, or yard clean, tidy, and organized.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs, obtain signatures, and verify delivery invoices.
  • Safety: Follow all safety regulations, including pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Travel: 40-60%

Qualifications

  • License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (mandatory), able to maintain a DOT medical certificate.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a driver, warehouse worker, or shop hand preferred.
  • Physical Ability: Able to lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs frequently.
  • Skills: Good communication skills and knowledge of local roads.
