Data Strategy, Governance & Ownership
  • Develops and executes the FSQA data and analytics strategy aligned to enterprise food safety, quality, and regulatory objectives
  • Owns FSQA data governance, including standardization of data definitions, structures, and reporting frameworks across all systems and sites
  • Establishes data quality, validation, and audit processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of FSQA data

Analytics, Insights & Risk Identification
  • Leads advanced analytics to identify food safety and quality trends, risks, and opportunities across data sources (e.g., audits, regulatory inspections, environmental monitoring, customer feedback, pest control)
  • Develops predictive and risk-based models to proactively identify emerging issues and prioritize mitigation efforts
  • Translates complex datasets into actionable insights and recommendations that inform decision-making at plant, corporate, and executive levels

Reporting, Visualization & Performance Enablement
  • Designs, develops, and deploys enterprise dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools to provide real-time visibility into FSQA performance
  • Defines and standardizes KPIs across manufacturing and supplier programs, ensuring alignment and consistency
  • Delivers executive-level reporting and presentations to communicate performance, risks, and opportunities clearly and effectively

Data Architecture, Systems & Integration
  • Partners with IT and data engineering teams to design and implement scalable data architecture, including ETL processes, data pipelines, and system integrations
  • Leads integration of FSQA systems (e.g., SafetyChain, eBacMap, QA Studio) to enable seamless data flow and reporting
  • Drives automation of data processes, including data ingestion, cleansing, validation, and reporting

Business Process & System Optimization
  • Analyzes FSQA and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Drives system and process improvements to enhance data usability, reporting efficiency, and decision-making capability
  • Supports implementation and optimization of FSQA systems in partnership with the Quality Systems team

Regulatory & Audit Support
  • Ensures FSQA data supports regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and traceability requirements
  • Provides data, reporting, and analytical support for regulatory inspections, audits, and investigations

Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence
  • Partners with FSQA, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT teams to align data strategy with business needs and operational priorities
  • Acts as a key advisor to FSQA leadership, translating data into business insights and strategic recommendations

Capability Building & Enablement
  • Builds organizational capability in data literacy and analytics through training, tools, and standardized reporting
  • Enables adoption of dashboards and data tools across FSQA and operations teams
  • Leads and develops the FSQA Coordinator responsible for enterprise FSQA system administration and data execution
  • Establishes clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards to ensure system effectiveness and data integrity across all sites

Vendor & External Partnership Management
  • Manages relationships with third-party data providers and system vendors, ensuring alignment with FSQA data and reporting requirements
  • Coordinates development of external reporting tools and analytics solutions where applicable

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 25%
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
Education Level:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Food Science, or related field required

Experience Level:
  • 7-10 plus years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or FSQA systems within food manufacturing or CPG environment
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling data and analytics capabilities across multi-site operations
  • Experience working with FSQA data sources, including audits, regulatory inspections, environmental monitoring, and quality systems preferred
  • Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, subqueries, and CTEs
  • Strong expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI preferred, Tableau)
  • Experience designing data architecture, including ETL pipelines and data models
  • Strong knowledge of data mining, analytics, and statistical techniques
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Experience optimizing business processes through data and system improvements
  • Strong communication and executive presentation skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and influencing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including advanced Excel, Power BI, PowerQuery, and PowerPoint
