Job description

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Suwanee, GA. The scheduled hours are Monday: 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Schedule may stagger 15-30 minutes on either end depending on center needs.

  • Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with no evenings or weekends, working Monday-Friday in a collaborative onsite health center that promotes work-life balance.
  • Variety in your day with opportunities to provide primary and occupational health services both in the clinic and at nearby client plant locations (within 0.5-15 miles) approximately once per week.
  • Bring your skills to a diverse patient population-bilingual Vietnamese or Spanish speakers are highly valued, and experience with Epic EMR and phlebotomy/venipuncture is preferred, with additional training available.
What You'll Do
  • Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
  • Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
  • Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
  • Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
  • Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
  • Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
  • Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
  • At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
