This position requires strong technical leadership, hands-on experience with enterprise VMS/PSIM technologies, and a proactive, mission-driven mindset to help shape the future of secure video systems for high-impact environments.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of Surveill and other secure video management software solutions.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Video Management System Engineers, ensuring high performance and alignment with project goals.

  • Ensure system scalability, performance, and uptime across domestic and OCONUS client sites.
  • Lead the deployment and maintenance of video management infrastructure and ensure proper documentation.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture, configuration, test results, and training materials.

  • Deep understanding of Video Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of PSIM platforms and their integration with physical security technologies.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, security protocols, and TCP/IP.
  • Proficiency with video technologies including Codecs/Protocols (e.g., h.264/265), Multicast/Unicast, and video streaming.
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server (2005/2008+) and writing SQL queries.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities.
  • Effective organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and incidents.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in Physical Security or Force Protection is a plus.
  • Understanding of modern programming languages is helpful but not required.

Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise Video Management Systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant military training or industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Security+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft) may substitute for a degree.
  • Equivalent combination of education and practical experience in VMS or physical security systems will be considered.
  • One year of practical experience networking or IT
  • Experience and knowledge of the physical security information management industry preferred.
  • Experience in Physical Security / Force Protection preferred.
