Job description

Emerald Transportation Solutions is seeking an experienced Truck Wrap Installer / Vehicle Graphics Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for the preparation, installation, removal, and maintenance of vinyl graphics, decals, and full vehicle wraps on refrigerated trucks, vans, trailers, and fleet vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, experience working with large-format graphics, and the ability to produce professional, high-quality installations that meet customer specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Install vinyl graphics, decals, lettering, striping, and full vehicle wraps on trucks, vans, trailers, and specialty vehicles.
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, measuring, masking, and ensuring proper adhesion conditions.
  • Read and interpret work orders, design layouts, specifications, and installation instructions.
  • Perform graphic alignment, trimming, finishing, and quality inspections.
  • Remove existing wraps and graphics without damaging vehicle surfaces.
  • Utilize heat guns, squeegees, knives, measuring tools, and other installation equipment safely and effectively.
  • Assist with printing, laminating, cutting, weeding, and preparing graphics for installation.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and sales teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Identify and report material defects, installation issues, or quality concerns.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience installing vehicle wraps, vinyl graphics, decals, or commercial signage.
  • Experience installing full wraps on large vehicles such as trucks, vans, trailers, buses, or fleet vehicles.
  • Ability to read measurements and use precision tools.
  • Knowledge of vinyl materials, laminates, adhesives, and wrap installation techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, platforms, or elevated work surfaces.
  • Ability to work in varying production and shop environments.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
