Your Role
As Catering & Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for soliciting, booking, planning, and coordinating group rooms, meetings, and events. You'll collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless execution, maximize banquet space utilization, and exceed revenue goals while delivering exceptional guest experiences. What You'll Do
  • Secure new and repeat business through outside sales calls, networking, and marketing efforts
  • Maximize banquet space utilization to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Develop and execute territorial marketing strategies to drive group and event bookings
  • Plan and detail meetings and functions, including space, menus, equipment, and dรฉcor
  • Complete contracts, prepare paperwork, and coordinate with hotel departments
  • Resolve client concerns and ensure high quality service delivery
  • Lead Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings and communicate group requirements to staff
  • Manage billing, payment methods, and financial oversight for group events
  • Stay informed on hotel procedures, competitor offerings, and industry trends
  • Represent the hotel at professional events and maintain high visibility in the market
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proven experience in sales or event management, preferably in hospitality
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet sales targets and build lasting client relationships
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with event management and software is a plus
