We are looking for an Inside Account Manager to join our team!
The Inside Account Manager USAF is responsible for assisting Outside Sales Representatives in processing driven sales opportunities through the entire ordering/booking phases, identifying new opportunities in assigned territories and relationship development with both customers and vendor partners.
The compensation range for this position is $62,000 to $72,000

Requirements
  • Assist and support assigned Outside Sales Representatives through the entire order process including, but not limited to: Lead identification; Quoting; Order entry; Customer service; Expediting; Follow up. Conduct an accuracy assessment of orders before routing to Purchasing Department.
  • Build cross- functional relationships within Darley Defense to execute Bookings and Closed Sales.
  • Manage customer service requests.
  • Assess customer situations, develop options and deliver solutions.
  • Conduct discovery calls with Current Accounts to expand sales.
  • Assist assigned Sales Representatives in generating and maintaining a pipeline of opportunities (in Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (CRM)) to achieve individual annual goals.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage and analyze customer interactions and contact data throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Develop personal relationships with Customers and Vendors to help understand customer preferences, habits, and actions.
  • Work with vendors to negotiate preferred pricing & delivery.
  • Assist with capturing the Dealer of Record and sending to Vendor Relations for situational awareness.
  • Advise Customers on selection of proper Funding or Contract Vehicles.
  • Respond to requests via phone, email, or in person meetings expeditiously.
  • Understand assigned sales territory and conduct research for new sales territories.
  • Conduct prospect calling to find new customers and contacts within assigned territories

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or as otherwise required.
TRAVEL
This position requires travel as needed.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor's Degree required, though prior military or government experience may be substituted at hiring manager's discretion
Experience
  • 5 years of sales experience, non-call center telephone sales desired
  • 5 years of customer service experience
  • 5 years experience MS Office, particularly Excel & Outlook
  • 2 years experience with a Customer Relationship Management program
  • Knowledge of tactical equipment, military, or federal agencies
  • Knowledge of government contracts (TLS, OTA, COTS, FEDMALL, GSA, etc.)
  • Knowledge of JDE Enterprise System
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its purpose
