Job description

Take 2 Recycling is looking for a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join the team!

This entry-level position offers an exciting and fast-paced work environment where you will perform routine tasks related to production and material handling throughout the facility and/or at collection events. Specific duties include disassembly of computers, televisions and other electronic devices, sorting, packaging, palletizing, stretch wrapping, loading and unloading cars & trucks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the task required on pre-sort, audit and disassembly at a rate consistent with established goals and timelines.
  • Periodically and as needed assist drivers with pick-ups and activities
  • Follow all company health, environmental and safety policies and procedures
  • Comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations for universal waste management
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment, including but not limited to steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses where required, gloves, etc.
  • Maintain high level of quality in all job functions performed in accordance with quality standards and as directed by supervisor
  • Perform daily housekeeping assignments and other permit compliance or miscellaneous duties as directed
  • Fully adhere to all site security procedures and requirements

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Ability to support drivers with loading and unloading
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly over the course of a shift
  • Ability to lift and carry computers, printers, televisions. monitors and other devices
  • Demonstrate proficiency with manual cutting and snipping tools
  • Ability to use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies and carts to pull and push pallets and stacked electronics
  • Ability to unload electronics (TV's, computers, monitors, printers and other devices) from the back seats and trunks of cars)
  • Ability to sweep and mop
  • Proficient use of manual and power screwdrivers
  • Ability to palletize and wrap equipment
  • Basic computer literacy and data entry skills

Job Details:

  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM ? 3:30 PM & Occasional Saturdays
  • Pay:$17.00/per hour
