**Location: ** Oshkosh, NE

**Job Type: ** Part Time (20-24 Hours)

**Department: ** Radiology

**Reports To: ** Radiology Manager/Supervisor

**Job Summary: **

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our radiology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using various radiological equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort. A strong understanding of radiological procedures, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential.

**Key Responsibilities: **

-Responsible for patient and personal protection from unnecessary ionizing radiation.

-Monitor ionizing radiation received by departmental personnel.

-Responsible for image production, positioning, and technique.

-Responsible for patient care and management also maintaining patient records.

-Exercises professional judgement in performance of procedure and maintains patient confidentiality.

-Responsible for equipment operation and maintenance.

-Complete patient log and charge sheet.

-Maintains radiation and general safety.

-Schedules mobile exams.

**Qualifications: **

-Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.

-Requires national certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensure by state regulatory agency if applicable. BLS certification is required.

-This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of related experience.

-Must demonstrate effective communication skills, human relations skills, ability to analyze data and solve problems.

**Physical Requirements: **

- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and assist in the positioning of patients.

- Capability to lift and move equipment as necessary.

- Adequate vision and manual dexterity to operate imaging devices and manipulate patients effectively.
