Account Supervisor
Location: New York, NY
Finn Partners Travel Team, is looking for an Account Supervisor with 4-7 years of experience to join our global travel and lifestyle practice. Ideal for a PR professional with deep roots in luxury travel, this role offers the opportunity to oversee and elevate a portfolio of premier global hospitality brands.
As an Account Supervisor, you will lead multiple projects and team members, acting as the primary day-to-day client lead with the support and guidance of senior-level executives. You will balance high-level strategic planning with the oversight of daily account activities to ensure exceptional service and measurable media results. This will include media relations strategy, client planning and execution, special events and partnership programs for our amazing travel clients.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the central day-to-day contact for clients, managing overall timelines and budgets while providing consistent strategic counsel.
  • Develop comprehensive PR strategy documents that seamlessly incorporate earned, owned, and paid tactics to meet client goals.
  • Anticipate potential executional challenges and proactively offer solutions to senior leadership and clients throughout program lifecycles.
  • Oversee and lead proactive media relations efforts to secure high-impact earned media across top-tier publications.
  • Stay tuned to industry trends and the evolving news cycle to identify "newsjacking" opportunities that keep our clients at the center of the conversation.
  • Maintain a pulse on the media landscape to build and sustain meaningful relationships with key journalists, freelancers, and influencers.
  • Organize and lead press trips and special events on behalf of clients, ensuring flawless on-site execution.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering a collaborative environment through effective delegation and professional development.
  • Support new business leads and opportunities, playing an active role in the development of proposals and new business presentations.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of PR agency experience, with a focused background in travel, luxury hospitality, luxury, or premium consumer brands.
  • A deep understanding of the luxury sector and the nuances of representing high-end global brands.
  • A proven track record of securing high-impact coverage and maintaining strong, existing relationships with top-tier national media across travel, lifestyle, business, and consumer sectors.
  • Knowledge of the evolving media landscape, including a pulse on podcasts and a history of successful influencer engagement.
  • Demonstrated success in driving multi-faceted external programs-spanning media relations, social media, and executive thought leadership.
  • Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex timelines and client expectations autonomously.
  • Polished oral and written communication skills, including a sharp eye for editing and the ability to present to senior-level executives.
  • Experience with industry tools

This role will be based in our New York City office and a hybrid schedule of a minimum of two in-office days per week. Work travel may be required with this role.
Compensation: The approved salary range for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 annually, dependent on experience and location.
