Warehouse Associate

Sol-Up is looking for a reliable and organized Warehouse Associate to join our Procurement & Warehouse team, reporting to the Procurement Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing and organizing stock, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Complete day-to-day warehouse duties including receiving, loading/unloading, storing and organizing of goods using a forklift, pallet jack and manual labor;
• Assists with maintaining regularly updated and 100% accurate inventory;
• Delivers and fulfills objectives and executes directives from the leadership team.
• Examines and maintains work equipment to ensure proper functioning, determine cause of malfunction (if any) and immediately report need for repairs; submit safety documentation;
• Assists with the generation of shipping/receiving/inventory/billing documents (as needed), tracking/filing of appropriate documentation, and updating information in Excel;
• Assists with monitoring shipments and deliveries, verify and accurately prepare Daily Installation material to meet customer order requirements;
• Seeks methods to improve work environment quality, repeatability and efficiency;
• Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment with high-quality standards for properly handling/organizing of customers' products and company tools/equipment;
• Use designated tools, systems, resources, and applications to manage various aspects of the job.
• Represent Sol-Up and our brand with professionalism, integrity, and passion.
• Strictly follows quality, safety and workplace behavior standards.
• Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
• Complete other duties as assigned or required.

Job Qualifications:

• Typically requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years of warehouse or inventory experience
• Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively in a team environment
• OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certificate
• Forklift Certificate
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift or carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks, as assigned.
• Physically access all areas of the office and work environment with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external clients and contacts.
• Ability for prolonged periods of time to sit, walk, stand, stretch, bend and kneel.
• Work in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• Work indoors and outdoors, be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to, heat, cold, noise, dust, fragrance aromas.

Compensation: $18 - $20 per hour, based on experience and abilities

Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, weekends as needed
