General Overview
Telemetry & Communications Systems, Inc. (TCS) a subsidiary of Delta Information Systems, Inc., designs and manufactures advanced tracking antenna systems for the telemetry, communications, and intelligence markets. As a recognized global leader, TCS supports customers worldwide with a strong commitment to precision, reliability, and innovation. As the company continues to grow, TCS is looking to add a Quality & Inventory Control Specialist to the team.
This position is to be filled onsite in Chatsworth, CA. No employer visa sponsorship is available.
Job Overview
This is a hands-on role focused on inspection, inventory control, and quality assurance. You'll be responsible for ensuring that incoming materials, in-process work, and finished assemblies meet required specifications and quality standards. Working closely with internal teams and vendors, you'll help resolve discrepancies, improve processes, and support efficient production. Responsibilities
  • Inspect incoming mechanical components to ensure compliance with engineering drawings
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of assemblies
  • Audit kits to verify correct parts and quantities prior to production
  • Create and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and communicate with vendors
  • Maintain RMA logs and support inventory control activities
  • Interface with vendors to resolve quality issues and support delivery timelines
  • Utilize MRP/ERP systems to track materials and inventory
  • Document and photograph materials during packing
  • Operate a forklift for material handling as needed

Qualifications
  • Experience in receiving inspection and inventory control
  • Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, GD&T)
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Experience working with vendors and resolving discrepancies
  • Knowledge of ESD practices preferred
  • IPC 610/615/620 certifications are a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position will be working directly on a contract with the U.S. Government which requires all employees performing these functions to be U.S. Citizens.

  • Salary Range: $33-$40 per hour (based on experience)
