Job Responsibilities

• Perform in-depth patient evaluations, encompassing physical examinations and thorough reviews of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions via interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient safety and positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including medication management, wound treatments, discharge planning, and providing patient education

Education and Credentials

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program required
• Previous clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis preferred

Certifications

• Current and valid PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Qualifications
