Job description

Job Title: Supply Chain Management Data Lead (Principal Systems Analyst)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on Supply Chain Management Data Lead (Principal Systems Analyst) to spearhead the data workstream within our core supply chain enterprise transformation program. In this role, you will hold accountability for master data governance, data conversion strategy, quality assessment, cleansing, retention, and reporting architecture across the supply chain ecosystem.
This is a senior-level leadership and systems role requiring deep functional expertise in SAP SCM modules (MM and EWM) as well as modern procurement and vendor management solutions (such as Ariba, Fieldglass, and Icertis). You will drive cross-functional collaboration, establish rigid global metadata rules, and ensure seamless data integrity during complex enterprise migrations. If you excel at standardizing business processes and aligning data strategy with large-scale transformation goals, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Data Governance & Standardization
• Framework Ownership: Execute and enforce enterprise master data governance frameworks, including standard naming conventions, global metadata rules, and rigid validation logic.
• Sign-Off Authority: Provide formal sign-off on data conversion strategies, data retention/archiving policies, quality assessments, and cleansing methodologies.
• Quality Auditing: Run routine master data compliance audits to proactively identify and resolve profile discrepancies, missing fields, and systemic data issues.
Lifecycle Migration & Integration
• Migration Execution: Drive the technical execution of data profiling, cleansing, harmonization, and loading during major ERP migrations (e.g., legacy ECC to SAP S/4HANA).
• Module Integration: Validate functional relationships and integration points between foundational material records, inventory nodes, logistics execution modules, and external procurement platforms.
• Analytics Alignment: Identify and define data requirements for reporting, advanced analytics, and operational dashboards.
Stakeholder Management & Leadership
• Cross-Functional Workshops: Engage key stakeholders across functional units to support data quality assessments, conversion planning, and blueprinting sessions.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the definitive SME for enterprise supply chain data applications, coaching team members on analytical techniques and data gathering methodologies.
• Change Management: Translate complex data parameters into clear operational requirements, driving change management and alignment across leadership levels.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical work experience).
• Experience Baseline: Minimum of 10 years of progressive professional experience in supply chain systems analysis, enterprise data management, or large-scale ERP implementations.
• Technical Mastery (SAP & SCM):
oAdvanced functional knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
oDeep expertise governing master data domains, including Material Master, Vendor Data, Source Lists, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
oFamiliarity with extended procurement and vendor management ecosystems (e.g., Ariba, Fieldglass, Icertis).
• Core Competencies: Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills; proven track record of managing complex cross-functional enterprise projects.
Preferred Attributes
• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent graduate degree).
• Experience linking operational supply chain tables to advanced analytical platforms (e.g., SAP IBP) and emerging data technologies.
• Exposure to merging Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced data analytics to generate business insights.
• Strong change management mindset with high adaptability to ambiguous, fast-paced transformation environments.
