Known primarily for its various Shell and Marathon Convenience Stores, Forward’s brand portfolio has grown to include many Subway Restaurants, Super 8 Motels, LumberJack Lodge, and The LumberJack Restaurant in West Branch. Forward Corp. also owns and operates Forward Energy, a home-heating business, and T.R. McTaggart, a custom screen print and embroidery business. Forward Corp. is headquartered in Standish, MI, and proudly employs over 700 Michigan residents across the state.

The Assistant Manager will assist with the day-to-day operation of the store. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervising, training, and developing Sales Associates; ensuring prompt courteous customer service and satisfaction; cleaning; monitoring compliance with company policies and procedures; assisting the manager in merchandising; daily bookwork; and fostering a positive store culture by treating employees fair and with respect. The desired candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, people-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain total customer focus. Should be able to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts. Previous retail management is preferred. Forward is offering new starting rates. Plus, up to an additional $3 in tips at Subway!
