The Store Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, organization, and operational success of the assigned convenience store and fuel location. This position oversees daily store operations, employee management, financial performance, and customer service standards while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day convenience store and fuel station operations
  • Lead, schedule, train, and supervise store employees and Assistant Managers
  • Ensure excellent customer service and guest experience standards
  • Manage store profitability, including labor costs, inventory control, and expense management
  • Oversee cash handling, deposits, inventory accuracy, and store financial documentation
  • Analyze sales results and operational trends and develop action plans to improve performance
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and State and Federal regulations
  • Manage inventory levels, product ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Monitor purchases and ensure proper procedures with suppliers and distributors
  • Conduct store audits, operational reviews, and performance evaluations
  • Train, coach, and evaluate employees on operational procedures and customer service standards
  • Ensure the store maintains cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards
  • Maintain a positive and productive team culture and work environment
  • Implement new operational processes and support company initiatives


Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Store Manager, Retail Manager, or Convenience Store Manager preferred
  • Experience in retail management, team leadership, and store operations
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing labor scheduling, inventory control, and financial performance
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and lead multiple priorities

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • In-person retail store environment
  • Schedule may include early morning, evening, overnight, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time (up to 10 hours per shift)
  • Ability to lift 35–50 pounds
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, and reaching
