Job description

Position Summary

If you love managing construction projects, mentoringothersand are passionate about safety, Southland has an opportunity for you as a Project Manager! In this role, you will work on exciting, commercial MEP projects, while developing future project managers and leaders. 

Position Details

  • Developsclient relations by providing project status updates to client and leadership. 
  • Managed budget reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders, etc. for project. 
  • Participates in project meetings with internal departments. 
  • Partners with stakeholders to ensure scope and direction of projectison schedule 
  • Developsbudget analysis reports, cost and revenue projections, change orders and otherreportas necessary. 
  • Delegates work andservesasmentorto Project Engineers.Provides coaching and performancefeedbackas necessary.

Qualifications 

  • Proven ability to manage small teams 
  • Strong negotiation skills 
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills 
  • Strong financial acumen 
  • Excellent project management skills 
  • Experience managing subcontractors 
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Products, such as Excel. 
  • Minimum 5 years' experience 
  • Active Top Secret security clearancerequired.
