Role Overview

The Administrative Assistant provides professional and efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day administrative activities, maintaining accurate records, supporting employees and leadership, and assisting with various projects and office needs.


Responsibilities

•Provide administrative and clerical support to management and department staff.

•Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a professional manner.

•Schedule meetings, appointments, and other activities as needed.

•Prepare, organize, and maintain documents, reports, spreadsheets, and records.

•Assist with data entry, reporting, and maintaining confidential information.

•Coordinate office supplies, equipment, mail, deliveries, and general office needs.

•Assist with meeting and event coordination, including scheduling, room preparation, and materials.

•Welcome visitors and provide professional customer service to employees, customers, and guests.

•Assist with special projects and provide support to other departments as requested.

•Maintain a professional and welcoming appearance and demeanor at all times, serving as the first point of contact for visitors and representing the company positively.

•Coordinate and oversee facility grounds maintenance in collaboration with outside contractors and Plant Manager.

•Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Qualifications

•2+ years of administrative or office support experience preferred.

•Strong organizational and time-management skills.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

•Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

•Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

•Dependable and customer-service-oriented.

•Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.


Education

•High School Diploma or GED required.


Position Details

•Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

•Schedule:  First Shift, 8-hour workday. The specific schedule will be mutually agreed upon by the employee and manager based on business needs.
