Job Summary

Lead a team of engineers and designers while serving as the technical lead for mechanical product design, development, testing, and production support within an aerospace/defense environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering team members
• Support hiring, workforce planning, and performance management
• Drive mechanical design decisions for new and existing products
• Develop and validate mechanical designs and engineering solutions
• Perform GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and design analysis
• Support FEA, thermal, vibration, shock, and structural evaluations
• Provide technical input for proposals (RFPs) and customer reviews
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and production issues
• Partner with Quality and Manufacturing teams on corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer standards
