Role Overview:
Network Administrators are the backbone of an organization's IT infrastructure. They are responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network systems, ensuring that internal and external communications are efficient, secure, and robust.
Core Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure Management
• Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks
• Manage LAN, WAN, intranets, VPNs, and MPLS circuits
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and uptime
• Apply patches, firmware updates, and maintain hardware inventory
• Plan and execute network changes via formal change control processes
Cloud & Hybrid Networking
• Manage cloud networking on AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, and Google Cloud
• Oversee SD-WAN deployment and cloud-based SaaS integration
• Ensure reliable, secure connectivity for remote and distributed workforce
