Job description

Stop Guessing. Start Closing. Launch Your Real Estate Career with Sanford Surrounded.

Starting a career in real estate is exciting, but for most new agents, the reality quickly becomes frustrating. No leads. No structure. No clear plan for how to actually build momentum. That’s why many agents close 0–3 deals their first year and never gain traction.

Sanford Surrounded was built differently.

We don't just hand you a desk and wish you luck. We provide the infrastructure, the live inbound leads, and the intensive coaching required to help you build a highly profitable, long-term career. Our current agents average 20+ transactions per year because they follow a proven system.

The Sanford Surrounded Advantage:

  1. Zillow Preferred Lead Flow: The hardest part of starting out is finding clients. We receive a steady stream of high-intent buyer and seller opportunities from Zillow and other online channels. You get real conversations with real people actively looking to move.
  2. Inbound Conversion Support: Our internal lead conversion system ensures new opportunities are contacted quickly and routed properly. No opportunity dies because of a missed follow-up.
  3. Elite Coaching Skill Development: Training is not optional here. Our leadership team works closely with you to master lead conversion, buyer consultations, listing presentations, negotiation, and pipeline management.
  4. Professional Marketing Engine: Stand out immediately. Our in-house marketing team produces professional listing media and video content, giving you a massive brand presence without having to build it yourself.

What You Will Be Doing: Your responsibility is execution. The system provides the structure. Your daily focus will be:

  1. Following up persistently with inbound buyer and seller leads.
  2. Setting and conducting professional buyer consultations.
  3. Showing homes and advising buyers on local market conditions.
  4. Meeting with sellers to discuss listing opportunities.
  5. Managing transactions from contract to closing.
  6. Building long-term, relationship-based wealth with your clients.

Who This Opportunity Is Best For: This role is ideal for newly licensed agents, agents with 0–3 career deals closed, or ambitious individuals actively enrolled in real estate school. We are looking for people who want to treat real estate as a full-time career, not a side job.

Qualifications:

  1. Active North Carolina Real Estate License (OR currently enrolled/working toward obtaining one).
  2. Highly coachable, disciplined, and willing to follow a proven system.
  3. Strong, professional communication skills.
  4. Comfortable adopting new technology and CRM systems.
  5. Note: Prior sales experience is helpful but absolutely not required. We will train the right person.

The Bottom Line: Most new agents struggle because they start entirely alone. Sanford Surrounded offers a structured, collaborative team environment designed to help you gain traction faster. If you want to build a serious career, we’d love to start the conversation.

Target Markets: Actively seeking agents in Fayetteville, Sanford, Spring Lake, Cameron, Raeford, Hope Mills, Broadway, Lillington, and Fuquay-Varina.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $190,000.00+ per year (Performance Commission Based)

Benefits:

  1. Flexible schedule
  2. High-volume inbound lead flow
  3. Comprehensive coaching and mentorship

Schedule:

  1. Self-determined schedule
  2. Weekend availability (Required for open houses and client tours)
