  • Direct the work of store associates; coach, develop, evaluate, and mentor team members; and recommend personnel actions.
  • Exercise independent judgment in resolving escalated Guest concerns and operational issues that materially impact store performance and the Guest experience.
  • Serve as the store's operational expert across systems and processes, leveraging platforms such as Shopify, NetSuite, and Gladly to support the team and resolve complex issues.
  • Regularly supervise and direct the work of multiple employees.
  • Participate in workforce planning, scheduling, and talent development for the store.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to establish and execute sales, operational, and staffing strategies.
This Might Describe You

  • Strong operational and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Experience handling inventory management systems and operational workflows
  • Demonstrated expertise across store systems including Netsuite, Shopify, Gladly, and related platforms, serving as the team's operational resource and escalating complex issues when appropriate
  • Demonstrated experience supervising and directing multiple employees and holding team members accountable for performance standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment regarding operational and personnel matters.
  • Proven ability to resolve Guest issues with professionalism and care
  • Comfortable leading teams and making decisions independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience serving as keyholder or Manager on Duty
  • Experience in furniture, home, lifestyle, or luxury retail environments
  • Passion for design, hospitality, and Guest experience
