Position Summary... What you'll do...Role summary:
The Manager, Security, leads crisis and emergency management efforts by coordinating multidisciplinary response teams and leveraging resources to resolve critical events efficiently. This role involves assessing security risks to protect people, operations, and assets while developing and implementing strategic risk mitigation programs aligned with industry standards. The position fosters strong partnerships across the organization and external entities to enhance preparedness and response capabilities. Additionally, the Manager provides leadership and development to security associates, ensuring compliance with company policies and promoting a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
About the team:
The team oversees crisis intake operations across 6,000 locations, ensuring prompt and coordinated responses to critical events. They collaborate with internal and external partners to manage emergency situations and mitigate risks effectively. Utilizing advanced communication platforms, the team directs incident response, security management, and performance evaluation. Focused on continuous improvement, members conduct data-driven analyses and post-event reviews. The team promotes a professional environment emphasizing development, accountability, and operational excellence, safeguarding company assets while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and leadership throughout crisis events.
What you'll do:
  • Manage crisis events by coordinating responders and resources to ensure timely resolution and effective communication with stakeholders and leadership.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships to enhance emergency preparedness and response capabilities across the organization.
  • Conduct data-driven assessments of security risks to people, operations, and assets, translating findings into actionable business risk insights.
  • Implement and support value-based security programs aligned with industry standards and company policies to mitigate identified risks.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop security team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with policies while promoting integrity, ethical conduct, and a positive workplace culture.
