Job description

BSA/Scrum Master for Splunk Data Ingestion
Validate that the iterative delivery process and methodology rules are followed, and the work and
communication are aligned to.
o Removing obstacles that impede the iterative delivery process
o Validating that everyone understands the delivery approach and ensures the team and stakeholders are
aligned on the next steps following that delivery approach
o Facilitate iterative delivery communications events (daily standups, planning, retrospective etc.).
o Facilitate decisions regarding the product and help resolve team issues (i.e., understand forming, storming,
norming, performing, adjourning principles)
o Validate that all team members are actively participating
o Validate communications to and between the team are clear, concise, and well understood; seeks
clarification from customer, product owner or other stakeholders as needed
o Coordinate with agile portfolio delivery coordinator and scrum masters with any
impediments and dependencies.
o Promote strong customer engagement and requirement gathering capabilities across the entire team.
o Maintain ongoing collaboration with internal teams to remain informed of, and adapt to,
forthcoming data advancements, technology changes, and evolving requirements.
• Experience working as a Business Systems Analyst, Scrum Master, Technical Business Analyst, or similar hybrid delivery role in agile or
iterative environments
• Strong understanding of agile ceremonies, backlog readiness, impediment management, dependency
tracking, stakeholder alignment, and delivery communication practices
• Familiarity with Splunk data ingestion concepts, log onboarding, source types, index readiness, field
extraction expectations, and data validation practices.
• Experience using agile delivery tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or similar platforms to manage
user stories, dependencies, risks, and delivery progress.
• Ability to gather, document, analyze, and clarify business and technical requirements for data, platform,
application, or infrastructure initiatives.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, product owners, engineers, platform teams, delivery
teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to bridge business needs, data requirements, and
engineering execution.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams across engineering, architecture, operations, security,
product, and business stakeholder groups.
Salary Range- $85,000-$100,000 a year
