Job Description
Clinical Laboratory Generalist - Generalist Labs
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience required.
- Community hospital experience required.
- Valid state license required; Compact license must be in hand at submission.
- Recent blood bank experience required for certain assignments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests in hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, serology, and limited microbiology.
- Ensure quality control and adherence to laboratory protocols.
- Accession specimens and collect samples as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory findings.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Compliance / Notes:
- Must commit to working 3 of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day.
- Requests for time off must be provided upfront at submittal; late requests may not be granted.
