Position Summary
  • We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Key Account Director to lead and manage partnerships with major retail channels across North America. This role is responsible for developing sales strategies, maintaining and expanding retail relationships, overseeing day-to- day operations, and ensuring alignment between product, sales, and marketing teams.
  • The ideal candidate has deep experience in North American offline retail, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving sales performance across large-scale retail accounts such as Walmart, Sam's Club, and Target

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Target Management
  • Develop sales strategies based on market demand and budget objectives.
  • Break down team sales targets and ensure goals are met through effective allocation and performance management.

Channel Maintenance & Expansion
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing retail partners (e.g., Walmart, Sam's Club, Target).
  • Develop and implement new sales strategies to improve partner satisfaction, strengthen brand image, and expand into additional stores in collaboration with business development teams.

Operational Management
  • Oversee store visit schedules and ensure retail execution standards are met across all partner locations.
  • Manage channel-level sales, distribution, inventory, and replenishment strategies.

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in North American offline retail operations, including 3+ years in a senior sales management role covering at least one core channel (such as Walmart, Sam's Club, or Target).
  • Background in consumer product industries such as apparel, home & furniture, outdoor sports, or consumer electronics (e.g., e-bikes, smart locks) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of retail store operations, merchandising standards, and replenishment processes.
  • Proven ability to establish clear team management guidelines and performance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams of 10 or more people, with expertise in target setting, performance-driven management, and cross-regional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken) preferred.
  • Ability to work across U.S.-China time zones and manage international collaboration effectively
