As the Manager, Engine Leasing , you will manage engine leasing activities and optimize StandardAero-owned engine assets across the Commercial Engine Services business. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders throughout the lease lifecycle, from documentation and availability through delivery, billing, maintenance, and asset return. This role partners across Commercial Engine Services, Military & Helicopter, Business Aviation, Sales, Operations, Finance, OEMs, vendors, and customers to optimize asset utilization, support customer requirements, and contribute to StandardAero’s financial and operational objectives.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage Lease Transactions: Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of LEAP and CFM56 engine lease transactions, including StandardAero-owned assets, from documentation through delivery and return.
  • Manage Customer Relationships: Serve as a key point of contact for global customers and internal stakeholders, building relationships and supporting a consistent customer experience throughout the leasing process.
  • Optimize Engine Assets: Coordinate engine availability, deployment, utilization, and asset lifecycles to meet customer requirements and maximize the value of StandardAero-owned assets.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Sales, Operations, shop teams, vendors, OEMs, and customers to prioritize requirements and coordinate timely engine availability and delivery.
  • Manage Documentation & Systems: Maintain accurate lease, asset, and customer records across applicable systems and databases in accordance with contractual, company, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Billing & Claims: Prepare and review monthly invoices based on engine time/cycles and contract terms; resolve discrepancies and coordinate service invoices, maintenance claims, and related payments.
  • Analyze Business Performance: Analyze revenue, margin, and asset performance; prepare reports and identify opportunities to improve profitability and asset utilization.
  • Support AOG Requirements: Provide or participate in after-hours Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support as needed to facilitate rapid asset deployment.
  • Lead Special Projects: Support or lead enterprise initiatives related to asset optimization, portfolio reviews, process improvement, and other strategic priorities.
  • Drive Enterprise Collaboration: Help standardize processes, share best practices, and influence consistent approaches across Commercial Engine Services, Military & Helicopter, and Business Aviation in a matrixed environment.

What skills you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aviation, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 5 years of professional experience in aerospace/aviation, including experience in engine leasing, asset management, sales, account management, customer service, aftermarket services, or commercial operations.
  • Experience managing customer relationships or commercial transactions in a business-to-business environment.
  • Experience coordinating transactions, programs, or projects involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience analyzing data, preparing reports, and maintaining business records or databases.
  • Ability to travel as required and provide after-hours support when needed for AOG requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with LEAP and/or CFM56 engines and their customer base.
  • Experience with commercial aircraft engines and/or major OEMs, including CFM, GE, Pratt & Whitney, Pratt & Whitney Canada, or Rolls-Royce.
  • Experience in aviation MRO, engine leasing, aircraft/engine asset management, or aviation aftermarket services.
  • Experience working with airlines, lessors, OEMs, or other aviation industry customers.
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM or similar customer relationship management systems.
  • Experience analyzing asset profitability, revenue, margin, or other commercial performance metrics.
