Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mid-Level Salesforce Administrator on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of our Salesforce environment. This role requires a proactive professional who can work independently to manage user requests, maintain data integrity, and implement key solutions to support our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
  • User Management: Create and manage user accounts, profiles, roles, and permissions to ensure appropriate access to Salesforce features.
  • System Configuration: including (but not limited to) Customize Salesforce applications, including flow builder, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, and APIs to align with business processes.
  • Automation & Process Improvement: Design, build, and maintain automation solutions using Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Workflow Rules to streamline business processes.
  • Data Management: Maintain data integrity through regular audits, duplicate entry cleansing, and database maintenance. Perform data imports, exports and updates using tools like Data Loader.
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and manage customized reports and dashboards to provide key insights into business metrics and performance.
  • Training and Support: Create and provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using Salesforce tools and features.
  • System Upgrades: Evaluate, install, and manage Salesforce updates and add-ons to enhance system functionality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to identify business requirements and implement solutions that leverage Salesforce capabilities effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a solid understanding of Salesforce functionalities.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce configuration, data management, and reporting tools. Proficiency in Salesforce's declarative tools.
  • Experience with user and data management, including security settings.
  • Familiarity with data migration and management tools like Data Loader.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce standard objects and capabilities.
  • Familiarity with building and customizing reports and dashboards.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to translate business needs into system solutions.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and provide user support. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications: Salesforce Administrator certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Contract-Specific Details
This is a contract position with a defined scope. The role will be focused on a specific set of deliverables aimed at enhancing our current Salesforce configuration and usability. The successful candidate will be expected to jump in and contribute quickly with minimal ramp-up time.
