SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst to join our Precision Fires team in Huntsville, AL onsite at Redstone Arsenal.

The Logistics Analyst provides centralized accountability and oversight for all PM Assets associated with Precision Fires operations, maintenance, and fielding activities. Improve tracking and management of high-value and sensitive government assets to reduce the risk of loss, damage, or inventory discrepancies. Ensure compliance with Department of Defense, Army, and organizational property accountability regulations and audit readiness requirements.

Support lifecycle management of PM assets, including:

  • Inventory control.
  • Asset visibility.
  • Equipment reconciliation.
  • Shipping and receiving coordination.
  • Repair cycle tracking.
  • Documentation management.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Property Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) and three (3) years' experience; Additional six (6) years' of relevant experience can be considered in lieu of degree (per contract vehicle).

Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance; US Citizenship required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of direct property or asset management experience within a DoD or government contracting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of DoD and U.S. Army property accountability regulations and compliance standards.
  • Safely perform physical handling requirements such as lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling equipment weighing up to 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Proven expertise with inventory management systems and lifecycle management processes.
  • High proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a focus on attention to detail.
