Position Summary
The Junior Scheduler supports development and maintenance of the master construction schedule for a data center project under the direction of the senior scheduler, updating activities, tracking progress, and assisting with look-ahead schedule preparation. This role provides hands-on experience with CPM scheduling on a large, multi-trade construction project.
This is a field-based position supporting construction projects in North Louisiana, Virginia, and Corpus Christi, Texas. Project assignments and reporting locations will vary based on operational needs. Travel and/or temporary relocation may be required.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Update the master schedule in Primavera P6 with actual progress reported by the superintendent and subcontractors.
  • Assist with preparation of three-week look-ahead schedules for distribution to field trades.
  • Track subcontractor schedule submissions and compare planned versus actual progress.
  • Support the senior scheduler in fragnet development for change order and time impact analysis requests.
  • Maintain schedule files, historical baselines, and update logs.
  • Attend weekly progress meetings and record schedule-related action items.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in construction scheduling or a related project controls role.
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar CPM scheduling software.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior exposure to a data center or other mission-critical construction project.
  • Familiarity with commissioning sequencing and MEP system turnover milestones.
  • Coursework or training in construction scheduling.

Work Environment
Primarily office-based within an on-site field office, with occasional site walks to verify field progress against the schedule.
