Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW
Position may work in Burn Table, Round, Tack & Seal, Stock Fittings, Flanges, Spiral and will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
KEY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Insulates and assembles product for delivery.
Uses sealant to properly seal product.
Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
Opens containers.
Ability to identify and know how to work with different types of metals.
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand when needed.
Transports materials to the next workstation or to shipping area.
Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet as needed.
Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on product when needed.
Assists in various departments as needed.
Operate computer, spot welder, roll forming, Sciaky welder, swedging machine, hydraulic shear, hand brake, power tools.
Fabricate sheet metal per specific instructions by reading tags.
Ability to tack weld with MIG weld.
Ability to use hand tools including tape measure and calculate simple math.
Ability to learn multiple areas and processes.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school education (or equivalent) preferred and/or previous factory experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in standard units of measure, using whole numbers, common
fractions, and decimals. Ability to read and use tape measure.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to adhere to delegation of authority and lead by instructions of management and supervision.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Basic computer skills may be preferred or required.
