The Position

PTE is the department within Roche's PT - Pharma Technical Operations - that leads Operational Excellence, Digital, and Advanced Analytics capabilities. As part of PTE, Operational Excellence empowers Roche PT teams to achieve their performance goals by cultivating a strong, inclusive, and cross-functional community. We focus on embedding Lean thinking, driving continuous improvement, and thoughtfully advancing Digital and Analytics solutions to deliver tangible business value.

Operational Excellence champions a culture of continuous improvement-promoting Lean as a way of working, simplifying complex processes, and enabling teams to address root causes effectively. Educate and influence senior leaders on using OE/Lean and digital measures to drive outcomes.

  • Catalyst: Support key decision-making, take accountability for improvement plan execution and outcomes, and lead complex improvement initiatives combining OE and Digital methodologies. Monitor performance, promote Lean practices, and identify and address potential roadblocks.

  • Coach: Guide senior and function managers on Lean Leadership, build skills and mindsets across the network, and facilitate a unified digital community.

  • Collaboration & Leadership: Engage PTT Leaders to uncover needs and remove barriers. Align with other PT OE Partners to ensure cohesive, cross-functional solutions. Communicate clearly, foster collaboration, and bring high energy and ownership.
