ABOUT THE ROLE/DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Azure Architect will be advising agency on architecture and security concerns associated with Azure including in-place migrations/refactoring.
  • Architect will need to make recommendations on lift and shift and on-premise to cloud native migrations.
  • Architect will need to make recommendations with refactoring within Azure environment.
  • Architect will need to conduct testing within Azure to show minimal viable product of an architecture.
  • Architect will need to understand available offerings from COV, MSI and other connected parties.
  • Architect will make configurations to Azure in support of agency-level objectives. Configurations will be primarily to Azure-based services.
  • Architect will need to sign Non-Disclosure Agreement.
Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience
  • Strong knowledge of cloud fundamentals Required 5 Years
  • Knowledge of single and multi-cloud strategies and implications Required 5 Years
  • Knowledge and experience in designing cloud solutions encapsulating all aspects of design that meet business requirements. Required 5 Years
