Job Overview:

Pay Range $110hr - $120hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong knowledge of data retention regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and data lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing data retention implementations.
  • Analytical skills to identify retention gaps and develop effective remediation plans.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • RIM - Records Information Management - Mandatory.
  • ROPA - Records of Processing Activity - Mandatory.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Retention Implementation Specialist will be responsible for executing data retention implementation and remediation activities.
  • This includes analysing retention assessments and details provided by applications to ensure adherence to corporate policies and standards.
  • The specialist will identify gaps or non-compliance issues related to data retention, and work with the application teams to design remediation plans to address these deficiencies.
  • Additionally, the resource will be expected to make recommendations to improve data retention practices and minimize risks associated with the existing data retention process.

Nice to Have:

  • Certifications applicable to data retention activities: IGP – Information Governance Professional, CRM – Certified Records Manager, CIP – Certified Information Professional, CDMP – Certified Data Management Professional, DGSP – Data Governance & Stewardship Professional.
