Opportunities are available in our Chicago, Columbia, and Houston offices, with remote options in the Charlotte or Chattanooga areas for qualified candidates. As the largest concrete specialty repair contractor in the United States, the STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES group delivers investigatedesignbuild solutions primarily for nuclear, power generation, and industrial clients. Our teams develop innovative repair strategies, integrated products, and engineering support to extend the life and performance of critical infrastructure. In this role, you'll apply and expand your engineering skills while shaping a career path aligned with your interests. We're looking for engineers who want to understand why structures fail - not just design them - and who are eager to be accountable for realworld performance. Supported by experienced mentors, you'll gain handson exposure across engineering and construction disciplines, including:

  • Gain exposure to structural failure mechanisms;
  • Evaluate distressed structures and determine root cause;
  • Decide when repair vs. replacement is appropriate;
  • Design repairs that must be constructible, durable, and safe in live Nuclear or industrial facilities
  • Work side by side with construction teams-not just hand off drawings.

Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

Education, Certification, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering
  • Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam is mandatory
  • Professional registration is preferred
  • 3 - 6 years of experience

Technical Skills

  • Solid understanding of how structures behave
  • Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis software such as SAP2000, RISA3D, or STAAD
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting/BIM software
