As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your core responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine each client’s specific clinical needs and personal goals.
• Developing and implementing individualized, recovery-oriented treatment plans that align with client needs.
• Engaging clients in ongoing therapeutic conversations, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster resilience and coping strategies.
• Monitoring client progress and adapting plans accordingly to enhance effectiveness and outcomes.
• Facilitating skill-building workshops focused on daily living skills, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation.
• Connecting clients with essential community resources and advocating on their behalf to ensure accessibility to needed services.

Your expertise will be focused on serving adult clients who may find it challenging to maintain a stable and independent lifestyle due to various mental health conditions. You will serve a diverse population, including individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and other mental health concerns.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid state license in one of the following:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Licensed Psychologist (PsyD)
• Demonstrated ability to practice independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
• A clean disciplinary record with no actions against your professional license.
• Strong computer literacy skills and reliable home internet connection.

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your application:

• Previous experience providing clinical services through telehealth platforms.
• A background in integrated care models or multidisciplinary team approaches.
• Experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
