The ideal candidate is a technically strong and collaborative identity management professional who thrives on securing access, improving operational reliability, and guiding teams through complex support environments. This individual brings deep experience with Active Directory and IAM platforms and understands how to balance user support, security, and compliance in a federal setting.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Serve as the resident expert for Active Directory support and lead the team responsible for AD and IAM operations.Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to identity and access management.Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and reliability of AD and IAM systems.Ensure compliance with security standards, regulations, and access control requirements.Handle complex issues related to user provisioning, access requests, identity management, and account security.Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and operational support to team members.Coordinate with other IT teams to integrate AD and IAM services with enterprise applications and support processes.Conduct regular audits and assessments of AD and IAM systems and support knowledge transfer across the team.Work Experience and Job Skills:Minimum of 5 years of experience managing Active Directory and Identity & Access Management systems.Strong knowledge of security standards, access management best practices, and enterprise identity operations.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities.Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Azure AD, and IAM tools.Experience collaborating frequently with service areas and enterprise stakeholders in support of secure access management.Education:Bachelor's Degree is required.
