Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our specialized team in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry. This full-time position is remote, allowing you to provide valuable mental health support to our young patients and their families from the comfort of your own location.

This position operates within a telehealth setting, allowing for flexible working arrangements. You will coordinate closely with other mental health professionals, including child psychiatrists, creating a rich learning environment where collaboration is key. Scheduled work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with potential evening shifts to accommodate patient needs as they arise.

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the emotional and psychological needs of children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that account for individual developmental stages and family dynamics.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions, to address mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other behavioral disorders.
• Facilitate family therapy sessions designed to empower parents and caregivers, fostering supportive and healthy home environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring coordinated care that aligns with best practices and patient-centered approaches.
• Deliver crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies involving young patients, ensuring their immediate safety and stabilization.
• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment modalities, and available support resources in the community.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
• Stay updated on current research and advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry to continuously improve the quality of care provided.

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and behavioral challenges. As a critical member of our team, you will contribute to the emotional and psychological development of our young patients by addressing their unique needs in a supportive and compassionate manner.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LP, LMFT, or LCMFT in Maryland.
• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders along with proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Experience in delivering psychological therapy and assessments to children and adolescents, with a focus on individualized care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a child-centered approach in all interactions.
• Strong ability to establish rapport with young patients and their families, fostering trust and openness.
• Competence with electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring efficient documentation and case management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, preferably with a focus on child and adolescent psychiatry.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapeutic techniques.
• Experience in working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competencies within mental health care.
